-Ladies & Gents-

This invitation is a favorite because it was designed for some really amazing friends Brandon & Emily Gatlin! Ashley designed this invite she created a warm western vibe to complement the bride and grooms vision of what they wanted their magical day to reflect. Ashley used a paper that looks worn and recycled called paper bag and then put together the perfect fonts and graphics to create a western feel. Next Ashley decided to create a pocket using some vintage fabrics that were found at an estate sale. Hope you enjoy this post, and while your at it check out the other talented vendors that helped create for Brandon and Emily’s western wedding!

Love,

Amber

Hand Painted ZIG ZAG invites!

I’m so excited about this one, I created an invite that is BRIGHT & FUN!  I have a huge love of different textile designs as well as the color yellow, so I had no choice but to hand paint some zig zag lines and use my favorite color on this hand crafted invitation! I also used some zig zag scissors to cut the borders of some components of this invite & paper suite. Another one of my favorite things about this shoot are the menus, I took some wood planks and cut them down to a 5×7 size and added the wedding menu to it and burned a heart shape at the top of the menu for some extra cuteness and did the same for the dessert signs as well as the Sara and Steffen sign! Last but not least I decided to add one final accent by creating some bags for the wedding favors, those were placed on the plate of each guest.

Enjoy this Cheerful wedding!

Love,

Amber

OSLO REED

Introducing Mr. Oslo Reed Becklund! This is one of my favorite creations because it was made for some of my closest friends Mark & Candice Becklund of MarkBrooke Photographers! I wanted to go with a simple organic feel with this one by using the color of Oslo’s baby blanket for the text and adding some hand drawn antlers. The amazing photo by Chenin of Boutwell Studios was the perfect compliment to the design. I’ve been obsessed with the mix between Modern & Organic Design lately and I feel like this design was an exact mix of those plus a dash of a retro vibe!

Love,

Amber

One of my Favorite paper creating projects to date, this Whooottin Baby Shower thrown for the Lovely Jessica Norwood! The theme of this radical shower was Little Baby Owls along with splashes of Mark Brooke teal, an array of green and splashes of yellow! New Jersey —-> California!!

We are happy to introduce Mr. & Mrs. Ryan Garber!

A few months back we received the sweetest email from one of the coolest couples ever, they were telling us that they were planning this amazing destination wedding to our beautiful CALI! After Tami explained her vision for the wedding we were 100% on board and went to work!

For the programs &  escort cards we decided to incorporate little airplanes to show the destination aspect and also add some sewing details for a sweet little accent; we did the same thing for the menu’s and thought the phrase “destination food” would create the perfect touch. The table names were such a cute detail suggested by our beautiful bride Tami, and we added lots of color to make it bright and fun! Next, we really wanted to carry the “destination” theme through to the “sweet treats” table by adding different modes of transportation to each of the dessert markers. We were also given the opportunity to create other personal touches for their big day, including: signs for their favorite signature drinks, postcards for their guests {to give the newlyweds sweet words of advice} and little thank-you cards for all the attendees.

Every detail of this wedding was perfectly planned by the lovely bride and groom, and we are absolutely giddy that we got to be apart of it!!

Balloons, Bubbles, and Milk & Cookies

So excited to introduce a fun little Wednesday morning post, you can definitely say we were inspired by a few different things, balloons, bright colors, milk, cookies, and bubbles! We thought it would be fun to create a invitation inviting Colin’s friends for a snack of milk and cookies! The invite was created with some fun summer colors, a coral colored balloon stamp with a hand sewn string! We then decided to incorporate a snack of milk and cookies for the kiddies and some bubbles for some party fun and a favor! We love the label for on the bubbles “Colin’s Bubble Factory” for a more custom accent! This is also a great wedding favor, if your looking for a magical bubble getaway! Hope you enjoy this post!

[I Heart Robots]

This Robot themed wedding was one of our favorites, the couple Tricia & Brian are so in love and have the best personalities! We will never forget the first e-mail we received from Tricia giving us the scoop on all her wedding ideas, it was filled with lots of Robots, Color, & Love! As you all know we LOVE weddings especially when it’s an original theme and this one is definitely original! So for this one we created a few different mock ups and actually decided to fuse two of the three we originally created. We found some amazing font’s that were super retro and dropped in a custom designed graphic created by the bride of she and Brian as robot people! SO CUTE! Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Stokes!

friday night fun!

our most recent styling adventure involved sweets, coffee, and lots of chalk! when we started the project, we knew we wanted to go for a chalk-board themed invite and poster that would carry through to the actual event – we built a huge chalkboard to hang above the fireplace and made small chalkboard signs for each table at the event.

our goal was to create a cozy space for people to hang out and mingle in…. so what better way to encourage conversation than to offer coffee and dessert! we enlisted a couple of our favorite culinary craftsmen {Baked Amore provided all the delicious treats! Contact Chef Kylie for your next bash at 714.454.3130 or kylie.rae.williams@gmail.com} and set up little nooks for people to sit and enjoy…. we also made sure to leave lots of standing room in the middle of the room {with a couple of cafe style tables} so that people could move freely through the space. a few white banners were hung to add a fun feel and also brought the eye level down and away from the generic ceiling.

friday night was a blast and we were so happy to see so many people enjoying the atmosphere that was created! so excited to design the next event!

Have a lovely weekend!

Love,

A&A
